CHA's Whidden Hospital Campus to Host Open House on November 6

Everett, Mass. – Cambridge Health Alliance will host an open house at its CHA Whidden Hospital campus on Wednesday, November 6th, from 4 - 6 p.m. The event, which is free and open to the public, offers the community a chance to see the many renovations and updates that have transformed Whidden Hospital, including a nationally renowned emergency department, many private hospital rooms, and advanced imaging and MRI systems.

The open house will include free food, hospital tours, and a raffle (prizes include a Kindle Fire). It will also feature blood pressure checks, chair massages, nutrition tips, and information on various services at both Whidden and the Beth Israel Deaconess HealthCare-Chelsea practice. The Joint Committee for Children’s Health Care in Everett will host a table where people can get information on the Affordable Care Act.

CHA Whidden Hospital is part of Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA), an innovative and vibrant community health system that serves over 140,000 people each year. CHA is an affiliate of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and a teaching hospital for Harvard Medical School and Tufts University School of Medicine.

The CHA Whidden Hospital campus is located at 103 Garland St. in Everett. Parking is free. A free shuttle service will run between Beth Israel Deaconess HealthCare-Chelsea and Whidden during the open house, departing Beth Israel Deaconess HealthCare-Chelsea (1000 Broadway, Chelsea) at 3:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
