Monday MGH Cardiology Rounds

As a part of a long-standing partnership with the department of cardiology at MGH, three senior members of the MGH Department of Cardiology join us for a noon-time teaching conference on a regular basis. PGY2 residents are scheduled to be a case presenter for one of these rounds AFTER you have completed your month in the MGH step down unit.

The session is intended to be a case-based teaching session in which you partner with the visiting cardiologist who provides teaching commentary. You will start by identifying a case. Although it is not mandatory that the case be a case that you managed during your month-long cardiology rotation at MGH, you are encouraged to choose a case from MGH. The intent is to enrich our educational conversation here at CHA with complex cardiology cases that we may not have clinical exposure to in our community setting. Case presentations are enhanced by supplemental material such as imaging, EKGs, and echocardiograms.
