The Anxiety Disorders Research Program, led by Gustavo Kinrys, MD, Instructor in Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, is conducting state-of-the-art research aimed at improving the care of people struggling with anxiety disorders and other related conditions such as trauma, stress, insomnia, and depression.

The Research Program is currently examining the efficacy and safety of novel and improved medication treatments for Trauma, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, Insomnia and Depression.

Our focus is to investigate and develop new treatment strategies for people who have not improved or continue to have anxiety, stress, trauma, insomnia, and/or depression symptoms despite receiving adequate treatment.

We are also conducting studies using cutting-edge technologies and advanced exams in order to learn more about the biological underlying causes of the anxiety disorders, stress, trauma, insomnia, and depression.
